Hello everyone, my name is Holly and I’ve been asked to tell you my story, yes Willow, I know it’s your story too, but you’ll just have to wait a bit, honestly that baby…
Anyway, I came to Heehaws in January 2019 with my baby Caspar, his auntie and cousin Angel and Cracker. We were in a terrible state, suffering from neglect, very underweight, full of worms and with bad rain scald. The vet said we were lucky we were rescued when we were or we could have died!
To be honest, I haven’t been able to tell the lovely ladies here too much about my past, but it left me feeling scared and afraid to be touched. I’m a lot better than I was and really enjoy a scratch and ear rub. I’m a good girl for our lovely farrier too.
The ladies were shocked to find that I was expecting again soon after arriving, but these things happen, and, in June 2020 my lovely baby Willow was born. I say lovely but she’s quite hard work and, me, being a gentle soul, find it hard to tell her off, after all she is so very cute.
It’s now November and we have recently joined up with Lottie, Wilfred and Theo. It’s nice to be part of a bigger herd and I’m hoping that the others might help teach Willow some manners!!
Ok Willow, your turn now, what was it you wanted to say?
Willow: ME ME ME ME ME ME ME, LOOK AT ME I’M BEAUTIFUL, ME ME ME ME ME!
Thank you Willow, I think that’s enough for now.
