Annie and Alice

Annie and Alice will shortly be looking for an experienced home.  These lovely girls arrived early this year with very overgrown feet.  Alice was very wary of people and we had to do the transport and first farrier visit with sedation.  You can see photos of their arrival on Facebook.  Shortly after arriving Alice developed Hyperlipaemia and was very ill.  Amazingly she pulled through and showed real patience with daily vet visits and recovered beautifully.  

They have come a long way since then, Annie is so friendly and very cute, Alice is still wary of people but given the time needed she comes for cuddles and with quiet handling is great for the farrier. Sadly Alice has some joint and bone damage from having long twisted feet for a long time and she remains lame even though her feet now look so much better. Annie is 28 and Alice is 6 years old, so ideally we are looking for a home with a young female donkey or several donkeys so that Alice doesn’t end up on her own at some point in the future.
