Also on the farm... Emily – Pyrenean Mountain Dog X Border Collie. One of seven born on a farm where the owner was going to have them killed because he wanted pedigree puppies😡 All 7 were found fabulous homes❤️ Snoopy – Born to a mum that was found wandering the streets, skinny and in pup. She was taken in and brought back to good health and had a litter for healthy puppies. Snoopy came as a playmate for Emily as the 3 other rescue dogs at the time were getting old ❤️ Snitch- found herself homeless after her elderly owners both died within 5 months of each other. She’s such a sweet girl who just loves attention. Very quiet and gentle and adored by everyone ❤️ Florrie, Prudence and Jeremy were abandoned in a local village. Their mother disappeared and their lives were in danger as one of the locals is a cat killer 😓 It took a while to trap all 3. Prudence was friendly, Florrie came round very quickly and Jeremy is still work in progress but better than he was. They are VERY vocal and follow Carina on her morning and evening rounds ❤️ Prudence Jeremy Teddy – one of a litter of 4 to a semi feral mum and then not handled for 11 weeks. He’s remained very very shy and not liked by some of the other cats for some reason. This picture was taken when he had been up high in the barn 🙈 He’s a very pretty cat without his web outfit 😂❤️ Purdy Lola Jeffrey – owners relocated to the uk, the didn’t want to take him with them. He was uncastrated or vaccinated. We soon put that right and he’s now lived happily her for the last 14 or so years. He’s now a very old fragile boy that hardly goes out unless it’s really warm and sunny – and who can blame him 😘❤️ Jasper – just turned up in February 2021. Skinny, dull coat and scared of people. Aged around 10 months. He soon realised that he would be fed and watered and that no one would hurt him. It took a while and catching him to get him castrated was “interesting”! But he’s now friendly and such a sweet boy ❤️ Bertie – dumped in a huge waste bin aged around 4 weeks 😡 He was such a pretty kitten and found in great health. He is a huge cat now with a huge character. He also loves to photo bomb the donkeys 😁❤️ Nugget – found wandering down the middle of a country lane aged around 3 weeks. Teeny tiny Nugget was with other kittens that had obviously been dumped. One died of a virus and although Nugget was the smallest she was the least affected by it. She did however get knocked by a car when she was a few years old and had to have her tail amputated. She’s a favourite with the volunteers and jumps from lap to lap at coffee time. Dennis Alfred – found locally aged around 3 weeks. He had coryza (cat flue) and was really skinny. Soon nursed back to health he and Bertie (who was found dumped around the same time) grew up together the best of friends. Alfred loves to photo bomb the donkeys 😘 Francoise Eddie Vera
