Donkeys looking for their forever home

These 2 darling little donkeys are Sarah and Benjamin, mum and son. They were part of the group of 10 that we took in from Israel. Sarah is 12 and Benjamin is 4, even though he still looks like a baby❤️
They are just gorgeous and very affectionate. Sarah can be a little shy at first and then, as you can see, she loves a cuddle and a scratch❤️
They are now ready for their forever home ❤️
If you are interested in adopting Sarah and Benjamin and have the land and a shelter, please send us a message 😘❤️

Please note donkeys can only be homed in pairs.

Beano and Hector

You may remember Norman, a beautiful 9yo donkey that Jane and Daren adopted from us many years ago that died unexpectedly in his field on Christmas Day😢

Hector, his best friend for all his years was left alone and confused. Within a short space of time he was offered a lovely place with a little group of 3 other donkeys but sadly it didn’t work out.
You may also remember that in January we took Beano in. He had never lived in with another donkey and was scared when he arrived with us. He wouldn’t venture into his shelter so has spent the whole time outside in the horrid rain we’ve been having. He was at least wanting to make friends with his neighbouring donkeys and learning to trust us.
So when it didn’t work out for Hector we felt that the best solution for everyone was that Hector should come back to HeeHaws and be slowly introduced to Beano. Then, when Beano is truly happy and relaxed with everything we can look for a new home for both of them together.
Hector arrived with us and after a week living side by side we put them in together.
They’re getting along well and Beano is getting more confident ❤️ It will take time for Beano still, but he’s definitely on the right road to happiness now.❤️❤️❤️
